Job Description
Assists in photography, photo editing, archiving and organization of
university photos.
Qualifications
·
Photography or related field, video
skills a plus but not required.
·
Must have a basic knowledge of controls
for a full frame dSLR camera, flash and lenses.
·
Ability to compose a decent photo.
·
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Lightroom, Adobe Bridge and Adobe Camera Raw.
·
Excellent organizational and time
management skills
·
Knowledge of the creative process,
asset creation and production
·
Must qualify for federal work study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
·
Photograph campus events, portraits of
students, faculty and staff
·
Assist in moving photography equipment
including external strobes.
·
Uploading and tagging photos to our
online archiving system (Photoshelter).
·
Develop strong working relationships
with communications staff across the institution
·
Manage multiple projects and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands:
Within the general range of an office environment. Must be able to walk around
campus. Occasionally, will be asked to lift heavy boxes and move materials.
