Call for Work

This is a juried exhibition entitled "Suffering", and we are looking for artists to submit their work as an extended reflection on this theme. While the show is taking place at Central Presbyterian Church in Clayton, we are not necessarily looking for explicitly "religious" art. Our goal is to provide a forum for artists and non-artists to reflect and dialogue on their experience in this world, and its significance.

The show opens with an awards reception on Saturday evening, September 26. We will have live music (jazz trio, and a singer-songwriter stage), hors d'oeuvres, and an awards ceremony.
The show will close on October 18 with an open forum on the theme. This will comprise of a concert and lecture followed by a Q&A. Speaker is Jerram Barrs (Covenant Seminary Professor of Christian Studies and Contemporary Culture; Resident Scholar of the Francis A. Schaeffer Institute).
