Call for Work: Deadline 3 December 2007

Artists are invited to submit three works each in any medium or mixed media for exhibition at Art Coop’s annual Fire Sale art show, opening December 14. Fire Sale is the annual holiday art show where accepted artists display one, two, or all three of their exhibited works with a fire sale/silent auction sheet. The highest bidder signed up on each fire sale silent auction sheet takes that work home. This is a once-a-year opportunity for artists to offer a great deal to buyers on selected art works. And for buyers to get an original art work or great holiday gift at a sold-to-the-highest-bidder price.

Art Coop charges no gallery commissions on sales of your work, but there is a $25 entry fee per artist (not per work), payable on installation of your work. Exhibition is limited to the first 40 artists accepted. For works submitted to be hung on the wall or free standing sculpture, each artist is generally limited to approximately 6’ feet of horizontal space for the three works. Exceptions will be made for large works where necessary.

Deadline for received submissions is December 3rd. But don’t delay submitting. Submissions will be reviewed as received and accepted or rejected only until we have 40 artists accepted. 9 artist slots are already filled. To submit your work for review, send an email to artcoopstl@hotmail.com with your JPGs attached or provide a website address where we can see your work.
