Neon offering significant support for photojournalists
Neon magazine has launched a EUR50,000 grant for young journalists and photographers.
The magazine is offering five grants of EUR10,000 to cover photographers' research and production costs on new stories. The stories and ideas must be unrealized so far, and be unworkable without funding.
The winners will be announced at the end of September. Successful candidates must offer their completed to Neon first, though they will retain their copyright and be able to offer the project to other magazines and newspapers if Neon turns it down.
To participate, photographers must send a summary of their project idea by 31 August to recherchestipendium@neon.de or Neon Magazin GmbH, Manuela Orth, Weihenstephaner Strasse 7, D - 81673 Munchen, Germany.
