Gallery Attendant job at RAC
The Regional Arts Commission is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours per month) gallery attendant beginning in September 2007. Gallery attendants are responsible for opening and closing the gallery, assisting gallery patrons and leading docent tours of the exhibitions. Other duties may include assisting facility rental patrons and some light event set up.
Qualifications: Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking to groups, and able to learn and retain exhibition information. Must be able to work weekends and some evenings. Must be self-motivated, responsible and reliable. An interest in visual art is helpful, but not required.
$8 per hour
