Call for work: Deadline 8 September 2007

The deadline for entries for Art Saint Louis' upcoming "Art St. Louis XXIII, The Exhibition" is Saturday, September 8, 2007. Only mailed entries postmarked by 9/8/07 are accepted--no hand-delivered entries--no late entries--no exceptions. Really.

"Art St. Louis XXIII" is an all media exhibit--NO ceiling installed or works that rely on the use of the internet--other than that, all media, subjects, styles, themes, etc... Artists must be at least 21 years of age and reside within 200 miles of St. Louis, MO. Works produced under instructor supervision are not accepted. No works exhibited in a juried show in the St. Louis area in the past 6 months. Juried by jpegs on CD. Limit 5 original works created in past 2 years (2005-2007 only). Entry fee: $20 current ASL members; $30 non-members; or $10 reduced fee with $45 new membership (=$55). Juried by Bruce Guenther, Chief Curator and Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art, Portland, Oregon.

Complete rules of entry are on the entry form, which is required for entry. For an e-mailed entry form (2 pdfs--front/back of form), please e-mail robin@artstlouis.net before September 6.

We've already had a number of great works submitted for this show--don't miss this opportunity to have an important Museum Curator see your work, consider it and possibly select it for our 23rd annual exhibition.
