Michael Swoboda's father

Former Kirkwood mayor Michael Swoboda, father of former Webster photo faculty member Michael Swoboda, died "peacefully and in the company of his family" this past weekend. Mayor Swoboda was one of those shot in the tragic events at Kirkwood City Hall last February.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, 11 September, at 4 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, at the corner of Adams and Kirkwood Aves. Additional information is available at the Webster-Kirkwood Times.
