Lomography/Urban Outiftters contest: Deadlines 7 & 14 September 2008

Caroline Philippone points us to a site she recommends to you:

"I stumbled upon a neat photo contest that I thought fellow photo students would be interested in. It's sponsored by Lomography and Urban Outfitters. What I thought the more unique part of this contest was that it is specifically for people who work with film. The idea is to scan in negative and upload it to the site. The competition starts today the 21st, and runs for three weeks, with a new challenge every week. If nothing else it is a more commercial contest, with prizes at $2,000, and artwork to be printed for Urban Outfitters stores."

As with any contest, be sure to read the terms and conditions! In this case, you are granting them unlimited use without compensation to you of any photo you submit, whether or not you win. But you can make your own decisions about the best way to get exposure for your work.
