Call for Work: Deadline 2 August 2008

The Soulard Art Market and Contemporary Gallery is calling for submissions to "This One's For you, " a juried exhibition of local artists.
Exhibition runs from August 14th, 2008 through September 7th, 2008.
S.A.M. is looking to represent 30 artists in our Contemporary Art Gallery, exhibiting with our 14 resident artists. Each artist can submit up to 3 Original Works.
Submission Guidelines: Artwork should represent history in Saint Louis, Anheuser-Busch,
Clydesdales, Prohibition, etc.
- No more than 3 Pieces of work to be juried.
- Framed 2D artwork must be ready for hanging (no saw tooth hangers).
- All artwork for consideration MUST be submitted via JPEG/JPG image.
- Accompanying e-mail must include title/ media/measurements, contact e-mail address, and phone number.
- File size for each work cannot exceed 500kb and must be attached in jpg (jpeg) format.
- Website address submissions will NOT be accepted.
- File Name should be named as such: Artists Name_Name of Piece_Dimensions.jpg (John Smith_Artwork1_16x20.jpg)
- Late entries after the closing date of submission will NOT be accepted, no exceptions.

All submissions are to be received no later than August 2nd, 2008, by 7pm CST for consideration. Late entries will not be accepted, no exceptions.
Submission is FREE! Accepted artists must submit an operational costs fee of $30. There will be no commission; artists will retain 100% of sales.
