SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR FAST TIMES 2 AT WHITE FLAG PROJECTS
An Exhibition of St. Louis Area MFA, BFA, BA & MA Candidates
SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MARCH 21, 2008
SELECTED ARTISTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED APRIL 14, 2008
FAST TIMES 2 OPENS MAY 17 AND CONTINUES THROUGH JUNE 21, 2008
WORK IN ALL MEDIA ARE ELIGIBLE. ARTWORK MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE GALLERY BETWEEN MAY 5 AND MAY 12, 2008, AND MUST BE RETRIEVED BY JUNE 25, 2007. STUDENTS RETURNING HOME PRIOR TO THOSE DATES MAY MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS FOR DELIVERY & RETURN OF ACCEPTED WORK. ARTWORK MAY HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY EXHIBITED IN DEPARTMENTAL, THESIS, OR OTHER SCHOOL-SPONSORED EXHIBITIONS.
All students earning MFA, MA, BA, or BFA degrees at St. Louis area colleges and universities are eligible.
NO MORE THAN 10 ARTISTS WILL BE SELECTED. FOUR JURORS WITHOUT ANY LOCAL ACADEMIC AFFILIATIONS WILL MAKE THE SELECTIONS:

Laura Fried, Assistant Curator, Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
Kim Humphries, Artist and Director of Installations and Collections Management, Laumeier
Sculpture Park
Artists are asked to submit up to 6 images in JPEG format on disc along with a checklist of
images including titles, dimensions, and media. ALL SUBMITTED WORK MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE EXHIBITION MAY 17- JUNE 21, 2008 AND MAY ONLY BE SUBSTITUTED AT THE DISCRETION OF WHITE FLAG PROJECTS. A short statement or explanatory text may also be included with submissions at the discretion of the submitting artist. JPEG files should be no more than 5 MB each in size. Video, animation, audio, and other time-based work should be submitted DVD or VHS and be 5 minutes in duration or less. Please include complete contact information with your checklist. Printed images will also be accepted. Submissions will not be returned. Selections will be made from submitted images only, with all identifying information as to the artists' school, year, name, and gender withheld from jurors.
