Call for Work: Deadline 31 March 2007
JAC Juried Exhibition – Entry Deadline, March 31, 2007
Open to artists residing in Illinois or Missouri, who are 18 years of age or older. All entries must be original 2-D or 3-D work completed in the last two years.
The exhibit will open June 22, 2007, and close July 29, 2007. Drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, glass fiber, metalsmithing, photography and mixed media are eligible for submission. Entry fees, for up to 3 works per artists, are $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers or $35 for new members. Accepted works should be delivered to the Arts Center June 15 through June 17, 2007. Sales of work will be encouraged. The Jacoby Arts Center receives a 40% commission on all sales. Bob Huber, Fine Art Chair at Blackburn College will serve as juror. Three cash awards totaling $850 will be presented. Cash award winners and at
least three additional artists will be invited by the juror to exhibit in the Awards of Excellence in January 2008.
