DEADLINE APPROACHING: Announcing the 2007 PIEA International Student-Teacher Photo Competition and Exhibition

The 2006 contest offered over US$112,000 in prizes donated by over 94 generous sponsors, the competition is open to students everywhere, of all ages, and to their teachers.

College students and teachers compete in both single images and portfolios. Prizes will be awarded in each category at the Grand, First, Second and Third Prize levels and to the schools of the Grand Prize winners. Every entrant receives a Certificate of Achievement.

The top 100-120 photographs will be exhibited at the PMA Imaging 2006 Convention in Orlando, FL USA in February 26 - March 1, 2006. Two 2006 PIEA International Traveling Photo Exhibitions will tour major conventions, schools, colleges and museums for two years in the USA, Australia and Canada. The top prize-winning images were published in Photo Marketing Magazine. Winners were also posted on the World Wide Web on the PIEA Home Page Gallery.
