Call for Work: Deadline 15 March 2020

New Photography II is a biennial juried competition for photographic artists at all stages of their careers. The museum is proud to continue to showcase new and exciting work by both emerging and established artists. The exhibition aims to highlight the current state of photography across a broad spectrum.

Second Prize $500
Third Prize $250

Submission and Timetable
January 1, 2020 Registration opens
March 15 Submission deadline
March 16 – 26 Jurying
March 27 Email notification of acceptance
April 1 – 10 Works delivered / shipments received
April 24 Reception & Awards with Juror
July 8 Last day of Exhibition
July 9 – 10 Pickup / Ship work

Guidelines
Submissions will be accepted through cafe.org, linked under Exhibitions at academyartmuseum.org
Artists may submit all types of photographic works including digital, analog, alternative processes, etc.
Entry fee: $30
Artists may submit up to 3 images
All works must be recent (within the past 3 years)
Artists are responsible for shipping or delivery of work at assigned dates
All works must be ready to install and be framed with wire
Works may not exceed 40 inches in any direction
Works that differ from the accepted submission will not be installed
