SIU Photo Contest: Deadline 27 April 2018

Greetings from Southern Illinois University,

On behalf of our student photography club, known as Photogenesis, we welcome and invite your photo students (undergrads and/or grads) to compete in a fine art photography competition.  Lux 2018 will the be 7th year in hosting this primarily Midwest regional competition.  Special invitations have been sent to the students of Oregon State University, Creighton University, and UNC-Charlotte, for we have had photo/intermedia arts professors serve as previous Lux jurors  (Kerry Skarbakka of OSU, Tim Guthrie of CU, and Aspen Hochhalter of UNC-C). 

This year's theme is "Tipping Point" with Justyna Badach of the Philadelphia Art Museum serving as the juror. Photos of any genre are welcomed.

Deadline for submission is Apr 27th.  

Cost is $5 for 3 images, or $10 for 8 images.

1st Place wins $300
2nd Place wins $200
3rd Place wins $100

Only 33-35 images will be selected for the Lux 2018 publication.
