How We See Her. Open to artists of any gender, the theme of this exhibition is the perception of the contemporary woman. Clearly the role of women varies tremendously from time and place. How do you understand, perceive, and question that role? Artists are invited to explore what it means to be a female in today's society. What are her goals, expectations, accomplishments, and shortcomings? How have they changed with the impact of history, and what does the future hold for the contemporary woman? Show: March 14-April 25, 2014. Juror: Janice Nesser, artist, Professor, St. Louis Community College Florissant Valley. 35% commission. Insurance.
