Calls for Work

Framations Art Gallery encourages artists to enter two new exhibits in the coming months. Each exhibit offers artists an opportunity to display their work on Main Street St. Charles for a five week long exhibit.

The first upcoming juried exhibit is "Presence" which refers to work focusing on work that visually includes people in any way. This could be through portraiture, crowd scenes, or even through shadow or form. The receiving dates for entries are May 18 and 19 from 10-6 and Sunday, May 20 from 12-5.The exhibit will be on display from May 25 - June 28.

The next exhibit open for entries is "Monochrome", referring to work following the theme “Monochrome”, including work that is primarily monochromatic, visually including shades of one color. This can be any color, not just grayscale. Artists are encouraged to explore the theme in a way that suites their vision and their work. The receiving dates for entries in exhibit are June 29 and 30 from 10-6 and Sunday, July 1 from 12-5pm. The exhibit will be on display from July 6 - August 9. For each exhibit, artists may submit up to three works for a non-refundable entry fee of $8.00 per piece. Entries must be hand delivered to Framations, located at 218 North Main Street.
