Call for Work: Deadline 15 June 2012

Sole Survivor Art Gallery is seeking applicants who create original art to be exhibited during July and August 2012 in our second floor gallery. Our purpose is to present to the community the work of young artists who live in and around Belleville and also to provide those artists with
an opportunity to experience the process of getting their work into a gallery setting.

DEADLINE for submissions is June 15th.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists residing in the Clinton, Jersey, Madison, St. Clair, Monroe, Bond, Calhoun, Macoupin and Washington Counties. The gallery
also welcomes applications from artists residing in St. Louis City and St. Louis County.

RULES FOR THE YOUNG ARTISTS SHOW

• Application is FREE.
• All young people between the ages of 16 and 35 can participate.
• This not a competition but artists will be selected through a juried process.
• Acceptable media include paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed media, prints, photographs, collages.
• Submit 3-5 photos of the work you would like to show. (can be submitted via email to:kaynaot@yahoo.com)
• Deadline for submission is June 15th.
• Work will be on display for one month (either July or August we will let you know which month upon acceptance)
• If your work is for sale, the gallery will retain 25% commission of any sales made.
  

Deadline for application to Sole Survivor Art Gallery's summer show for young artists is June 15th. Notifications of acceptance will be made by June 22nd. Work must be ready to install June 29 – July 1st. Opening night reception will be Friday, July 6, 2012.
