Photo Safari: Saturday, 12 September 2009
Gunther Cartwright, our first Artist in Residence for the photo program and the May Gallery, will lead an “Industrial Photo Safari” on Saturday, September 12. He and the group will visit a site of the St. Louis Street Department, where there are a number of interesting objects to photography. The focus of the project is color, and it does not matter what camera you use or whether you use film or digital capture.
The site is at 1900 Sulpher Ave. in St. Louis city. Plan to arrive at 9:00.
Free (and not for credit), but limited to 12. Sign up on Bill Barrett's office door, Kirk House 107. Be sure to leave a phone number in the unlikely event that anything changes. (In order to have the best experience, be sure to take a copy of the suggestions and information.)
