Jacoby Arts Center: Call for Art!
5th Annual Juried Exhibition
Eligibility: Jacoby Arts Center's Juried Art Exhibit is open to artists residing in Illinois and Missouri who are 18 years of age or older. All entries must be original 2–D or 3-D work completed in the last two years. Artwork previously shown at the Jacoby Arts Center is ineligible. Artwork eligible for submission includes drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, glass, fiber, metalsmithing, photography and mixed media.
Juror: Bruce McCoy is a professional sculptor who has exhibited his work regionally. Mr.
McCoy is a Professor of Art at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL, and has held the
position of Department Chair for 14 of his 22 years as a member of the faculty.
Awards: Cash awards will total $850. One $500, one $250, and one $100 prize will be awarded by the juror. Cash award winners and at least three additional artists will be invited by the juror to participate in the Awards of Excellence exhibit in January 2010.
