Photographer Chris Lee of the Post-Dispatch is speaking Friday, 30 March 2007, in the Emerson Library Conference Room.
Chris graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He promptly put his education to work as a photography intern at the Valley News on the Vermont/New Hampshire border, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Topeka Capital-Journal in Kanas. He returned to St. Louis to join the Post-Dispatch staff as a general assignments photographer in 1999 and has been primarily covering sports since 2000. Following local teams and events in St. Louis, he has covered Super Bowls, Final Fours, World Series, the Winter Olympics and the Turkey Day game between Kirkwood and Webster Groves. He will be covering the start of the major league baseball season this weekend at Busch Stadium.
