Call for Work: Deadline 20-22 May 2016
Call for Art created or manipulated digitally
Framations Art Gallery invites artists to enter artwork with a focus on digital work in their new exhibit Altered. In this ever evolving world of technological advances, there are everyday more programs, apps, filters, and more to use, to alter, create and explore your photographs and art. Framations asks artists to present in 2D their work created either entirely digitally or heavily manipulated on screen. Do you paint on a tablet? Filter and manipulate your photos? Create stills from digital video? Expand your horizons and print your pixels! All work must be presented as 2D wall hung work (printed, not still in digital form!) for the exhibit.
The exhibit will be on display May 27 - July 7. Entries are due in person to Framations May 20 & 21: 10-6 & May 22: 12 - 5. Artists can enter up to four pieces with an entry fee of $8 per piece. The Juror for this exhibit will be Stan Strembicki, a professor of art in the College of Art Photography program at Washington University in St. Louis. Please read the full entry details available on www.framations.com.
