Photo speaker: Thursday 9 October 2014

Ann Rosen: In the Presence of Family is on view through 31 October. A reception for the photographer is on Friday, 10 October, from 5 - 7 pm in the May Gallery.

This exhibition is part of Webster University's International Conference on Human Rights: On the Rights of the Family. Ms. Rosen will present a breakout session on her work on Thursday, 9 October, at 11:15 am in Webster's East Academic Building at 545 Garden Ave.

"I document the concept of family as it is defined by the subjects in my photographs through their closeness and commitment. The transformation of family is at the heart of this project."

May Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, noon - 5 pm.
