Considered to be one of the most important photographers of his generation, Anthony
Hernandez appears at the Sheldon Art Galleries for a Gallery Talk and book signing in conjunction with his exhibit, Anthony Hernandez: The Seventies and Eighties, on view through January 19, 2007.

Using a critical and analytical approach to his subject matter, Hernandez’s photographs of Los Angeles and other peopled urban settings meld issues of race, class and other social concerns with formal and aesthetic values.
