Important: Getting your Webster refund

As student refunds are being processed through HigherOne for the first time this term, you are encourag to activate your Webster Debit Card and indicate your refund preference. It would help you avoid a lot of confusion and frustration. They have been advertising this information through Connections and the University web page for several months now, however the vast majority of students who will be eligible for refunds have not yet logged on and indicated their refund preference. These students WILL NOT be able to access their refund until they complete this process.

There is an FAQ sheet that downloads via a link from "In the Spotlight" on the home page of the University web site, as well as from the Registration and Services Online page. This will probably answer most of the questions you may have. A bigger issue may be for those students who have not updated their address with the Registrar, and their debit cards were returned in the mail. These students will have to apply for a replacement card (after they update their address) and wait until that arrives, then activate their card and refund preference before their refund can be accessed.

We have also posted updated announcements in Connections, so hopefully this information will be seen by the students affected by this change in procedure.

Please feel free to call call the Help Desk at 314-968-5995 if you have other questions.
